    All who are made to be compassionate in the place of the cruel In the end are made to be cruel in the place of the compassionate.

    More colloquially translated: "Those who are kind to the cruel, in the end will be cruel to the kind."

The Problem with Young Men

"Police and a senior security official said the blaze at the Kenya Assemblies of God Pentecostal church in western Kenya was deliberately started by a gang of youths." [1]

The problem with young men may be that they get too close to old ones before rampaging off to change the world.

Nonetheless, should you be young and reading this: the weak are always more prone to violence than the strong.

Among leaders, certain of the breed nourish their flocks on avarice, division, jealousy, and hatred, a generous dollop of poison for unbounded energies.

Perhaps where the strong are weak, they invite the violence of the weak.
