Pakistan - Lt. General Ahmed Shujaa Pasha Appointed ISI Head

A great general defends his people and maintains his country's assets in peace without submitting either to the will of others in any manner but fair and advantageous trade.  With the appointment of Ahmed Shujaa Pasha as director of Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) Agency, General Kayani has produced a defense organization bearing his stamp and one that may convey his vision for a Pakistan secure in its borders and, eventually, free of internal enemies among its own citizens.  He has stepped into the position vacated by Pervez Musharraf, shaped it to suit his sense of mission, and well he may be looking ahead to history's judgment about him.
