Pakistan: Mingora Update

The above URL will take you to a busy but short story, so rather than quote it, I'd urge you to click to it.  Essentially, there's a conventional war on in Mingora: Taliban forces have killed and kidnapped locals; local fighters have engaged Taliban while the Pakistani ground troops have encircled militants in Koza Bandai, if I have read the article correctly, where the Taliban has held fortified positions.  (The Associated Press of Pakistan would seem to date that action back to September 3--"Security Forces clear Koza Bandai from militants, 30 killed: ISPR"--it may be more safe for a blogger to say Mingora and surrounds have been hot zones this Sunday).
