Transformation of the Small Islamic Wars may share three facets:
1. Detective's Wars--because they are driven and sustained by commitments, relationships, and chains of communication kept private and quiet.
2. Poet's Wars--because they are ultimately wars about and motivated by language and shaped by normative language behavior.
3. Soldiers' Wars--because in every region suffering with assassinations, bombs, and gunfire, they are about local personalities and their aggrandizement, which brings the prosecutors into fast contact with their closest rivals and resistance, and, in turn, that seems to call for "boots on the ground" to genuinely and thoroughly reform the root arguments for aggression.
