"In a dramatic move, Taliban militants kidnapped one of their senior commanders, Abdul Khaliq Haqqani, in the restive North Waziristan Agency for his alleged involvement in embezzlement of “donations” collected for “Mujahideen”.
Militant sources said Taliban fighters led by Hafiz Gul Bahadur picked up Abdul Khaliq from his office in Miramshah and drove towards Mirali subdivision."
Given the severity of Sharia as only the Taliban may promote it, one may wonder what Haqqani was thinking. Add to that the Taliban's tenacious pursuit of its goals . . . .
If Haqqani, who else?
