And we know from our own records that in spite of the falsification of truth that is taking place everywhere in the world, and in spite of the great advances in all spheres of life in the last hundred years, the human rights map of the world is more or less the same. The killing goes on, the torture goes on, the hidden and live burial of those who raise their voices against atrocities goes on, the suppression and the burning of books goes on; the kidnapping of journalists goes on; and the “goes on” goes on. And our work as defenders of the rights of these victims for freedom of expression, for freedom of breathing, for free trial goes on. And it will go on.
