My white Jewish father marched in the Civil Rights movement around 1963 to 1965. He did not march so that racists could stand outside a polling place in jack boots and uniforms glaring at "honkies", among others, going into vote.
What happened, America?
What has happened, Europe?
Why now?
And what now? Or next?
The news is six weeks old; these videos and others like them or high in anti-Obama propaganda content are spinning around the web; is it our long, hot summer?
I don't go for lying, which taints the truth in its presence, so I try to filter out the "scare media".
I don't go for appeasing and enabling thugs, but the above video recap and talk indicating charges dropped on a clear case of intimidation seems to have opened the gates to re-energizing racial hate, the goad coming from a fringe black community outfit which should have rightly, immediately, and vociferously drawn the condemnation of the entire black community.
Despite all the evidence of intimidation and the unanimous conclusions of the career lawyers who actually worked on the case, the Appellate Section lawyers who carefully scrutinized the relevant facts and law, and each of their respective supervisors that Justice had a solid case, the DOJ dismissed the lawsuit against all but one defendant late on May 15 and sought only an extremely limited remedy against the remaining defendant.

Here, in political macro over the past decade, has come an ideological class that sees no evil, not from the New Black Panther Party stationed with sticks and in some kind of uniform outside an American polling location, nor, so it would seem, in Hamas, Hizbollah, the Islamic Revolution in Islam, all of for whom polling places are largely irrelevant, especially compared to tactices associated with the intimidation or neutralization of any discovered opposed to them, and all of for whom supremecy sought through a victim's prism seems the most highly prized of ambitions.

Whatever it may be, because it is "common knowledge" doesn't mean it's true; moreover, because it is fashionable, doesn't mean it's good.
Here in this still mulled story, in the Middle East Conflict, in Afghanistan and Pakistan and Somalia, is a global challenge to observation, analysis, and "clear, accurate, and complete" reportage.
I don't really want to do this right wing nut stuff, but someone, anyone, "recontextualize" the above video to prove each is a sort of fabrication or theater and easily dismissed from the street to the White House.
Failing that: stand up!
Americans, so I might say for being one, search out the channels between too invasive and pervasive a government, a broad persecuting entity bent on its own enrichment and puritanical impositions, and a too loose and poorly behaving and poorly policed a constituency. I'm not sure about the progress of the Big Government bogey, but the above in popular politics and Department of Justice behavior signals a dark change in American sensibility or, worse, so I would prefer to think, a reduction in our shared internal defenses such as to allow these insidious drifts to grow into full-scale ambush.
Since my father's post-WWII, pro-Civil Rights Movement days, the American community, the great and inclusive mass of it, has effectively kept marginal its hate groups and its ideological zealots , but here is a hard left, downward, and heavily manipulated turn not to be missed.
Here's an excerpt from a Tommy Christopher interview with Malik Zulu Shabazz, National Chairman of the New Black Panther Party, over Glenn Beck's planned rally at the Lincoln Memorial for August 28:
Malik Zulu Shabazz: I am aware of it, and that Glenn Beck should not be allowed to have this rally. Glenn Beck is a sneaky little devil, and he does sneaky things, and tries to portray that he’s really not the neo-racist that he really is. And for him to go and to secure the Lincoln Memorial on Dr. King’s birthday will meet not only opposition from civil rights leaders, but it’s going to meet direct opposition from the New Black Panther Party.
Since the Tea Party loves Glenn Beck and will be there, the New Black Panther Party can easily find the Tea Party, right with Glenn Beck. He can bring his Tea Party, and we’ll bring our party, and we’ll see Glenn Beck. Since he wants to go on Fox News, but he doesn’t want to invite us on Fox News, he’s had me on before, I guess he’s got the orders from the top, at Fox, not to have me on…
Tommy Christopher: Beck had you on before, but not anymore?
Malik Zulu Shabazz: Beck has had me on before, I’ve been on Sean Hannity about 20 times, he’s under orders not to have me on, Bill O’Reilly’s under orders not to have me on. This is all a conspiracy. I would say a Zionist conspiracy, but you would say “He’s too conspiratorial.”
But it’s some kind of conspiracy going on, to keep the truth out, and to keep us off the airwaves, to keep talking about us, but not talk to us. So we’ll see Glenn Beck live in person. I don’t think his rally should be allowed to happen.

Watch the video.
Tell me how it makes you feel or how you feel about it.
Better yet, hold off a moment and enjoy this, posted on YouTube about an hour ago:

More fun--this posted back near when the incident took place:
The New Black Panther Party said that the real reason two members of its group were standing at the entrance of a Philadelphia polling place on Election Day with a nightstick was to provide protection against white supremacists . . . .
Sgt. Ray Evers of the Philadelphia Police Department on Friday said there were no incidents of voter intimidation or violence involving white supremacists or Neo-Nazis on Election Day.

If the whole scene doesn't make you sick, you may be sick, imho.
Remember one thing: the Obama Administration's Department of Justice, more than a year after bringing charges and developing its case addressing the malfeasance of interest in this post, dropped the entire matter.
False flag operation to provoke commentary like mine and that of so many others center-to-right on the political charts?
Real deal and real permission given the likes of Malik Zulu Shabbazz to proceed full steam ahead in the destruction of the beneficient, egalitarian, and multiculturally tolerant fabric of my country?
You tell me.
